Good eye!

Had heard the name, but didn't realize how much he got around until I read through this (which must be true):

"which must be true"...true unless harvey has sen. fienstien's ex-press rep writing wiki articles again...or was that boxer's...

anyway, I love his work on highway 61 and the doors soft parade.

though I didn't realize the extent of his work...seals and crofts?...I wonder if he played on summer breeze...

on the soft parade he played on four tracks:
Tell All the People
Touch Me
Wild Child
Wishful Sinful
(Doug Lubahn played on all other tracks)

regarding the doors bassist: I guess I like to think that the doors bassist was always ray manzarek's left hand and right foot like on their first album and pretty much live but they had more than a few.

the doors: manzarek
strange days: doug lubahn
waiting for the sun: doug lubahn, leroy vinnegar & kerry magness
soft parade: harvey brooks & doug lubahn
morrison hotel: lonnie mack & ray neapolitan
la woman: jerry scheff (supposedly headed towards membership but morrison died)

plus at least 5 more playing on singles and the post-morrison releases (e.g, other voices).

sorry, didn't mean to go off on the doors bassists but at times my fingers take control and type away. In this case it was hard to stop since I had turned on the soft parade just before seeing the Harvey Brooks posts...strange day(s)...
